Hi readers, welcome to our March newsletter, covering Latin American technology trends, expansion, and M&A.
In Connect33 updates, we officially launched our new Scaling EngineeringTeams in LatAm series in partnership with Envoy Capital Advisors. In the coming months, we will interview industry leaders in the US and Latin America who have scaled software engineering organizations for top companies in the region. These interviews will be posted on our blog and our Substack page.
#01 Scaling Engineering Teams in LatAm: Kenneth Lopez is a Partner at Connect33. He previously founded Tekton Labs, a top software development consultancy based in Latin America, and currently serves as its Managing Director. In addition, he is currently a Partner at Equals11, a Latin America-based Salesforce consulting company. In this conversation, we explore critical topics, including team-building strategies, AI implementation, and regional expansion, with executives who have navigated these challenges. Read the full interview.
The decision to focus on Salesforce was strategic. We identified a significant market gap: companies that are too small for the "big four" consulting firms but too large for smaller implementation partners. These mid-market clients have the budget but can't afford the premium rates of larger firms. We've mastered serving this sweet spot efficiently, providing high-quality services tailored to their specific needs.
